Education & Mentorship
I help therapists get out of the textbooks, and get better Client results.
Pain and injury continue to be a leading cause of disability, and as a health or fitness professional, we see more and more clients coming in with these struggles every. single. day.
Most clinicians and coaches think that their lack of success with rehabbing or training clients is because they don't have enough technical skills in their repertoire, or the client isn’t doing their part correctly.
When really, they haven’t looked at the whole picture, outside of the textbook checklists and protocols.
I am here to help you get clear on this.
All while guiding you on how to communicate YOUR value, giving people a reason to come see you.
We all know you need clients coming in the door if you want athletic therapy to be sustainable, and I’ve got you covered here too.
better results + a solid business strategy = bigger impact.
Let’s jam.

I love talking through cases, discussing clinical reasoning, and guiding clinicians and coaches to empower their clients.

“Megan has an advanced understanding of musculoskeletal issues and pain management. She is one of the few clinicians I trust to take care of my patients.”
“Megan’s somewhat unconventional approach exposes issues that almost all other professionals can never actually get to.
I recommend any coach or therapist looking to improve their assessment/prescription skills talk to Megan, and learn everything you can from this girl. ”
Who am I to talk?
I've been working in private practice since 2014, where the majority of my clientele has always been people experiencing persistent pain; whether related to accidents, surgeries, or unknown origin.
I initially struggled big time, because school didn't prepare me for when clients had co-morbidities, had symptoms that didn't correlate with a basic diagnosis, or how to make medical/legal decisions regarding function and disability.
I didn't understand why therapy and exercises weren't working, when everything on paper pointed to a good prognosis.
I knew something was missing.
So I went looking for it.
Over the past 8 years I have built a successful clinical practice based around persistent pain, because extensive education (40+ courses and a Masters degree) and mentorship led me to work with the best in the industry and the best-evidence.
I’m really looking forward to sharing what I’ve learned with you!

If you want to just hang out and learn in a low-key way, that’s cool too…so let’s be instagram friends, because I share a TON of value over there too!
I graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Applied Health in 2012, and then completed the national certification exams under the supervision of Dr. Glen Bergeron to certify with the Canadian Athletic Therapists’ Association.
In between attending around 45 continuing education and professional development courses/workshops in North America, I went back to school starting a Master’s degree through McMaster University. After completing extensive coursework in evidence-base practice and clinical decision making, my final project was aimed at identifying how athletic therapists can better assess and manage persistent musculoskeletal pain. I received my Master’s of Rehabilitation Science in fall 2020.
